We are in awe of the master craftsman who created such a delicate amber work of religious art. A beautifully hand painted image of the Blessed Virgin and Jesus with floral damascene on a gold background is crafted inside a genuine goose egg with the addition of amber highlights. Two delicate hinged doors complete the ensemble with the whole being placed on a stand. This aspect of Mary and Jesus is focused outward, engaging with the world and the viewer.
