Next Visit to Spain

Come with us as we travel to Spain's Andalucia, to the coastal town of Almuñécar on the sunny Costa Tropical in the Province of Granada. Traditionally a vacation haven for the Spanish themselves, Almuñécar remains somewhat removed from the hustle and glare of the densely populated Costa del Sol to the West of Málaga. Almuñécar has natural, architectural, cultural and historical attractions to satisfy the most discerning tastes, from aqueducts to fish-salting factories, from bodegas to beach restaurants to barbecues, from shops to markets, from hiking to hang gliding to some of the best underwater diving and snorkeling in the world. We are leading a semi-guided tour with numerous opportunities for side trips to places such as the Alhambra in Granada, the caves of Nerja, the Roman town of Acinipo, the dazzling town of Ronda perched on its deep ravine. All our travel arrangements and bookings are prepared by Linda Doyle of Service Guaranteed Travel, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. We are extremely pleased to welcome Linda to our 'Al Andalus' team. Linda is a full time senior leisure travel consultant and also an experienced tour leader. The annual tour in Feb/March that Linda will be leading with us will be of a 2 week duration, using Almuñécar as the base with optional 1 and 2 week extensions for people wishing to stay longer. This will allow the traveler to unpack once for a stress free holiday. Linda's success as a tour leader can be attributed to the philosophy that even though it is group travel, not everyone wants to see or do the same things once they are in destination. She will organize day trips catering to the individual traveler's needs prior to departure and will also be available during the stay in Almuñécar to assist with travel requirements. She is working hand in hand with the assistant director of tourism in Almuñécar to ensure the traveler has a memorable holiday. In addition to the annual trip, Linda will be assisting us in leading select theme departures, ie, art tours, wine tours etc. These will also be listed in "Upcoming Tours".
